Meghan Markle accused of being a ‘narcissistic sociopath’ by staff in explosive new book

An explosive new book describing the Duchess of Sussex as a “narcissistic sociopath” sheds more light on her aspirations before Megxit.

New book alleges Prince Harry sought mediator to 'resolve the Royal rift'

Publicity surrounding “tell-all” and “wholly truthful” published accounts of life inside a royal household as well as life as a royal continue to plague Prince Harry.

Already in a panic to make last minute changes, that may not be realised, to the approved final draft to his memoir in the wake of the Queen’s death and his father’s ascension to the throne, the Duke of Sussex is now facing fresh controversy over revelations in another new royal book about his wife Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex.

The new explosive claims have been published by Valentine Low from The Times in London in his new book titled Courtiers: the Hidden Power Behind the Crown.

In an extract published from Low’s book a Palace insider claims Markle dreamt of being Britain’s Beyonce when she married Prince Harry.

She thought her popularity would skyrocket but Megxit put an end to that dream.

“I think Meghan thought she was going to be the Beyoncé of the UK,” a former Palace insider said.

“Being part of the Royal Family would give her that kudos.

“What she discovered was that there were so many rules that were so ridiculous she couldn’t even do the things she could do as a private individual.”

MEGHAN A ‘NARCISSISTIC SOCIOPATH’

The book also clams that staff called the 41-year-old Duchess of Sussex a “narcissistic sociopath”.

Royal aides referred to themselves as the “Sussex Survivors’ Club” and said Markle wanted to be “rejected” by the institution.

On Saturday, another extract from Low’s book was revealed claiming that the Duchess moaned about not getting paid for royal engagements while on a tour of Australia in 2018.

Bullying allegations against the Duchess of Sussex ahead of Megxit in 2020 were also made. She has denied the claims.

Another new book, The New Royals, also claimed the Queen was surprised that divorcee Markle wore white when marrying Harry in 2018.

A family source said: “Perhaps it’s a generational thing, but she believes if you’ve been married before, you wear off-white on your wedding day, which is what the Duchess of Cornwall did.”

But the newest claims from Low’s book include that Prince Harry feared he would “become irrelevant” when his nephew, Prince George, turned 18.

In an extract published from Low’s book, he states the Duke of Sussex had a “long-held fear” about being irrelevant one day and compared himself to Prince Andrew who does not have a job or “direction” anymore.

“He had this thing that he had a shelf life. He was fixated [on] this. He would compare himself with his uncle [Prince Andrew],” the book states.

“He would say, ‘I have this time to make this impact. Because I can.’ Until George turns 18, was the way he was thinking about it. ‘Then I will be the also-ran.’

“He was genuinely thinking of it as, ‘I have this platform now, for a limited amount of time. I want to move forward, move forward’.”

MEGHAN COMPLAINED SHE SHOULD HAVE GOT PAID FOR AUSSIE TRIP

Low also writes about how the Duchess was “feted as an inspirational role model” across Australia in October 2018, however “behind the scenes it was a different story.

Although she enjoyed the attention, she complained and thought she should be getting paid for royal engagements.

The book, which is being released next month, also explores more allegations about Ms Markle, who is accused of bullying royal staff before she and Prince Harry left royal duty for Canada and the US in 2020.

It claims more than six months before the engagement, she told one of Prince Harry’s advisers: “I think we both know I’m going to be one of your bosses soon.”

In 2017, after their engagement was publicly announced, a senior aide spoke to the couple about concerns the royal staff had about the way they were being treated.

The book claims the Duchess of Sussex replied: “It’s not my job to coddle people.”

Ms Markle is also accused of “speaking particularly harshly to a young female”.

“After Meghan had pulled to shreds a plan she had drawn up, the woman told Meghan how hard it would be to implement a new one. ‘Don’t worry,’ Meghan told her. ‘If there was literally anyone else I could ask to do this, I would be asking them instead of you’,” the book stated.

It’s claimed that Prince William personally reassured the staff member after hearing about the alleged incident and told her she was doing a great job and she started crying.

Ms Markle’s lawyers have always denied bullying allegations and Buckingham Palace was investigating claims made 18 months ago.

MEGHAN CLASHED WITH AIDE OVER FREEBIES

Mr Low’s book also details an alleged row Ms Markle had with her personal assistant Melissa Toubati over the Duchess’s desire to keep free clothes.

Ms Toubati quit her role six months after the couple’s royal wedding in 2018.

The book claims: “Clashes centred on the free gifts that some companies would send Meghan. Deliveries were constantly arriving at Kensington Palace with one source quoted as saying “Clothes, jewellery, candles … It was non-stop”.

“Toubati was apparently punctilious in following the household rule that members of the Royal Family cannot accept freebies from commercial organisations.

“Her approach did not go down well with Meghan.”

It comes as Prince Harry panics over making late changes to his bombshell memoir, due to be published this year, and Ms Markle cancelled a string of media appearances to promote their podcast and Netflix series after the death of Queen Elizabeth II was announced.

Reports also suggest King Charles III could stop the couple’s children from being given prince and princess titles.

The future titles for their son Archie, 3, and daughter Lilibet, 1, could be removed if their Netflix documentary series and Prince Harry’s memoir are too controversial.
