PRINCE Harry made a romantic dash back to Kensington Palace on the day of Pippa Middleton’s wedding, personally collecting his actor girlfriend Meghan Markle and escorting her to the reception.

The Prince appeared unfussed as he left the wedding in Bucklebury, 80km west of London, and got behind the wheel to drive back to Kensington Palace, where Markle was waiting to avoid stealing the limelight from Pippa on her big day.

The happy couple then returned making a low-key entrance to the reception in an Audi, just in time to catch a fly-past by a World War II-era Spitfire plane.

“Harry is extremely fond of his sister-in-law. They had a wonderful time at Kate and William’s wedding.

“He knew this was all about Pippa’s big day and he and Meghan jointly decided they didn’t want to upstage her,” a source told The Sun.

“Harry went all the way to London to get Meghan and bring her to the party. He was determined not to upstage Pippa but also really wanted them to enjoy the wedding together,.

“He left as discreetly as possible and travelled with her all the way back up, showing just how serious he is about her.

“He didn’t want Meghan having to arrive alone, without him alongside her, at the reception.”

Markle snuck into the festivities clad in a glamorous long black dress, sunglasses and a white jacket. It was a somewhat controversial choice of attire given etiquette and fashion experts advise against wearing black to weddings, with some cultures believing it is bad luck.
