Prince Harry to reveal more ‘personal stories and challenges’

In new concerns for the Queen, Prince Harry will lay bare more of his own “personal stories and challenges” growing up in the royal family at a virtual summit next month.

Meghan Markle dubbed the 'most intelligent' royal

Prince Harry will discuss “personal stories and challenges” in his first public appearance of 2021 at a virtual summit in February, in a new challenge for the royal family.

Prince Harry, who now lives in a $20 million mansion in California with wife Meghan Markle and children Archie and Lilibet, will attend a virtual event on February 3 for BetterUp.

The Sussexes’ biographer, Omid Scobie, announced the news via Twitter on Friday local time.

“In his role as Chief Impact Officer at @BetterUp, Prince Harry will join CEO @Arobichaux for a virtual event on Feb 3 to discuss their bold commitment to the company’s new #InnerWork initiative.

“Expect to hear the duke talking about personal stories, challenges, and successes.”

The reveal could mark another blow to the royal family as it reels from sex abuse allegations and the impending civil trial against Prince Andrew.

The announcement may spark speculation Prince Harry will kick off the year with more bombshell revelations.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey last March already sent shockwaves around the world as they detailed the extent of their rift with the royal family – notably with Prince Charles – and included allegations of racism.

Since moving to the US in 2020, Prince Harry has signed deals with, among others, Netflix, Apple TV and Spotify.

Prince Harry’s role as Chief Impact Officer at Better Up means he gets a salary from the company, but it has not been revealed how much he is paid or if he owns shares or stock options.

In a separate tweet on its official social media, BetterUp described its #InnerWork initiative as “a mindful, conscious effort to organise the inner you”.

The tweet continued: “It’s engaging in activities that recharge, reinspire, and reignite your sense of purpose. It’s the work dedicated to ordering your mind.”

Following several TV appearances, including the Winfrey Interview and his talking heads in The Me You Can’t See for Apple TV, this interview may offer another glimpse into his private life.

The royal family are already bracing for Prince Harry’s memoirs, which are due to be released later this year.

Princess Diana’s youngest son promised to give an “accurate and wholly truthful” account of his life, writing as “the man he has become.”

Home life during the break-up of the Prince and Princess of Wales’s marriage, the period of Princess Diana’s death and its aftermath, Prince Harry’s relationship with Camilla and past girlfriends are likely to form part of the book, which is hotly anticipated by fans of the royal.
