Madonna’s hairy new look is just the pits

POP superstar Madonna continues to use her Instagram account to bewilder the general public.
The singer debuted a hirsute new look on her account today, posting a selfie with a furry patch of underarm hair and the caption: “Long hair...... Don’t Care!!!!!! #artforfreedom #rebelheart #revolutionoflove.”
What’s strange, though, is that on close inspection (yes, we’re spending our Friday afternoon closely inspecting Madonna’s underarms, don’t judge), the hairs don’t appear to be real.
So either Madonna’s wearing an armpit merkin, or there’s some poor sod on her payroll who’s been employed to digitally add hair to her underarm after the fact.
Which is it, Madonna? WE WANT ANSWERS.
Madonna’s Instagram account truly is one of the strangest celebrity social media accounts around — rivalled only by Cher’s frequently incomprehensible Twitter.
The steely, untouchable aura that Madge had spent the best part of three decades building up came crashing down as soon as she signed up to Instagram. Since then, there have been allegations of racism, underage drinking and snaps of penis-shaped bongs. In between, the photos she’s posted have painted her as a real-life version of Amy Poehler’s ‘Cool Mom’ from Mean Girls:
