Kelly Osbourne breaks off engagement to vegan chef Matthew Mosshart

KELLY Osbourne is a single lady again, after her reps confirmed that she broke off her engagement to Matthew Mosshart.

“Kelly Osbourne and Matthew Mosshart have decided to end their engagement,” a rep for the 28-year-old star said, reports US Weekly.

“The split is amicable and the pair continues to have nothing but the utmost respect for one another. Kelly is looking forward to a new year full of fresh beginnings.

"No further comments will be provided by all parties and we request privacy, decorum and space from the press but don't expect it.”

The couple first went public with their relationship in late 2011 after meeting at model Kate Moss' wedding a few months previously. Mosshart is the brother of Allison Mosshart, who is in rock band The Kills with Jamie Hince, Moss’ husband.

Osbourne confirmed her engagement to the vegan chef in July 2013, revealling to Britain’s Hello magazine that Mosshart got down on one knee and popped the question during a Caribbean holiday.

“I've never felt this close to another human being, ever,” she said. “People say we're co-dependent, but we just want to be together all the time.”

While Osbourne, who was previously engaged to model Luke Worrall, has not directly addressed the split with Mosshart, she did write something of a cryptic tweet earlier this week.

“Its (sic) all about perception sometimes the bad things that happen in life aren't really bad at all especially when you learn something from it!”

Strangely, Osbourne also posted a photo of her and Justin Bieber indulging in a spot of graffiti.

“Just had so much fun getting lessons from @justinbieber on how to #SprayPaint! Needless to say I was s**t all I did was the horns! Justin is a lovely boy and have [sic] turned me into a true #Belieber tonight!” adding, “Most #Random but fun night with @justinbieber.”
