Kate Moss makes iconic fashion statement for the Queen

Supermodel Kate Moss donned a rare historical item and danced atop a bus with other famous models and actors in a patriotic nod to the Queen.

Former supermodel Kate Moss has joined other British celebrities including Idris Elba, Patsy Kensit, Naomi Campbell, and Sir Cliff Richard to ride on Jubilee Pageant double-deckers representing each decade of the Queen’s historic 70-year reign.

Moss, 47, wore a vintage Union Jack blazer and was seen smiling through rose-tinted sunglasses as she danced alongside fellow fashion legend Naomi Campbell, Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor and celebrity make-up guru and pal Charlotte Tilbury on top of the bus representing the fashion heyday of the 1990s.

The colourful open deck bus was themed ‘Girl Power’ which was a mood ushered in by Brit supergroup, The Spice Girls.

Kate Moss joined the Pageant with her friend Tilbury, who hosted a party at Claridge’s before the concert kicked off.

Moss paired red Vivienne Westwood stilettos with the Union Jack blazer Moss had indeed worn before in the 1990s.

According to Vogue online, the jacket is a piece of fashion history, originally worn by Moss on the Paris runway for John Galliano’s spring 1993 collection, which paid tribute to British fashion history and naval prowess.

Vogue speculates that Galliano at the time gifted Moss with the patriotically-inspired piece.

In true Moss style, the model and former party girl wore her own boho chic pendants and grooved along to the music, waving at fans along the Mall parade route.
