Kanye West’s brutal text to Kim Kardashian over Fashion Week outfit

One of Kim Kardashian’s outfits prompted a savage text from her ex-husband Kanye West, who told her: “I would’ve went to jail before I went out in that.”

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian may be divorced, but the rapper still wants a say in what she wears.

West, 45, who recently sparked outrage by including “White Lives Matter” T-shirts in his latest Yeezy show, apparently wasn’t a fan of Kardashian’s Milan Fashion Week ensembles from February.

On Thursday’s episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians, the Skims founder, 41, shared some of West’s critical text messages with her team.

In addition to slamming the white Prada sunglasses she paired with an all-black latex look, West, 45, took particular issue with Kardashian’s glossy oversized jumpsuit by the brand.

“The orange look made me so mad, would’ve went to jail before I went out in that,” West wrote in a text, according to Kardashian.

Despite her ex’s harsh words, the mother-of-four didn’t appear to take much offence.

“While we’re here in Milan, Kanye has the kids at home and he can’t help himself. We can laugh about things we like or don’t like. No matter how crazy things are sometimes, we’re always going to be family,” she said in a confessional, adding that she’ll poke fun at West’s outfits in return.

Kanye said he’d rather “go to jail” than wear it.

“I’ll text him back and be like, ‘You know, you have been wearing those boots for a long time, so when you’re ready to change your outfit, let me know and then you can have advice on mine.’”

West famously overhauled Kardashian’s wardrobe when the pair started dating in 2012, and proceeded to dress her throughout their relationship.

Following the duo’s split in early 2021, Kardashian admitted she was having “panic attacks” without West as her stylist.

The rapper, for his part, apparently told his ex he wanted to “quit everything and dedicate his life” to dressing her.

He certainly hasn’t been a fan of some of her post-divorce duds; after Kardashian paired a leather Fendi x Skims dress with matching gloves for WSJ. Magazine’s 2021 Innovator Awards, West compared the look to something Marge Simpson might wear.
