LOOK out, ladies! After six months together, Jake Gyllenhaal and Sports Illustrated model Alyssa Miller have called it quits.

According to US Weekly, the pair’s relationship fizzled out just before Christmas.

“Things were really good between Jake and Alyssa right up until he had to leave for Los Angeles to go shoot a movie (Nightcrawler) in the fall,” a source told the magazine.

“Then the distance just really got to them.”

Gyllenhaal, of course, has been busy filming upcoming thriller, Nightcrawler, in which he plays a struggling, freelance crime reporter who goes deep into the LA underworld.

Sources are saying that Miller was in for the long haul, but Gyllenhaal wasn’t.

Speaking to US in late-October, Miller said that things were “good” with Gyllenhaal.

For his part, Gyllenhaal was openly enamoured with his love back in September at the Toronto Film Festival, taking her to the premiere of his movie Prisoners.

The 33-year-old star has previously dated Taylor Swift, Kristin Dunst and Reese Witherspoon.
