AUSSIE model Bridget Malcolm has revealed what it takes to get through the Victoria’s Secret runway casting.

Malcolm will join fellow Aussie and Victoria’s Secret veteran Shanina Shaik on the catwalk this December.

“For me it was a matter of getting into shape both physically and mentally,” Malcolm said on Sunrise.

“I had to start working on what I was eating three months before and then really stepping up the workouts.

“That meant twice a day work outs ... and a daily meditation routine just to make me feel relaxed and happy and good about it.”

According to Malcolm, the castings ends with only 10 to 20 models out of the 800 who apply.

“They want a girl that’s really confident and comfortable ... you’re in your underwear in front of a room full of people and cameras and then you’ve got to walk,” she said.

“You have to really, literally own it when you get in there.”

International models Gigi Hadid and Kendell Jenner will also take to the runway on the night.

Signers to perform include Selena Gomez, The Weekend and Ellie Goulding.
