Creepy, persistent and possibly murderous.
Celebrity stalkers have caused chaos in the lives of some of entertainment’s biggest names as they wage their twisted campaigns of violence and harassment.
And they’re not to be taken lightly. Chillingly, in some tragic cases, the outcomes of a celebrity stalker’s obsessive behaviour — such as the case of murdered Beatle John Lennon — has been deadly.
Aussie pop princess Kylie Minogue is the latest A-list star to fall victim to a stalker.
Worried neighbours told The Sun had hounded the pop queen for weeks after launching a sustained campaign against the star.
One neighbour said: “It came to a head when the man repeatedly pressed the intercom button to her home for hours on end last week and refused to leave.
“Kylie was quite upset and called in police. They spoke to Kylie, and also the suspect in the street for quite a while.”
The pop princess, who was said to be very “shaken” after the incident and is now beefing up her security.
In a statement, police said: “Both parties were spoken to and the matter was dealt with by the man being issued with a first-instance harassment warning.”
Worryingly, Minogue is the latest in a long line of stars who have been forced to take legal action.
SANDRA BULLOCK

Corbett — who was obsessed with the star and referred to himself as her husband — had managed to break into her house
Bullock took out a protective order and the burglary matter went to court. Corbett later died
of a self-inflicted gunshot wound during a police stand-off.

BBC PRESENTER EMILY MAITLIS
British media star Emily Maitlis was left feeling “scared and let down” after a man was able to carry on harassing her even while he was in jail for breaching a restraining order.
Maitlis was subjected to a 20-year ordeal at the hands of Edward Vines, who she briefly befriended when they were both studying at Cambridge University.
Maitlis said she and her family had been let down by the criminal justice system, saying the unwanted attention had upset her husband and scared her children.
UMA THURMAN
In an attempt to win the Uma Thurman, Jack Jordan sent her sexually explicit cards and drawings depicting the actress’ death. He also repeatedly visited her house and even tried to get into her trailer on a film set, leaving a note that read “my hands should be on your body at all times.” He was found guilty of fourth-degree stalking and one count of second degree aggravated harassment in 2008.
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE
The singer-actor was forced to take a restraining order out against Karen McNeil after the obsessive was caught loitering on his Hollywood estate for the third time.
Shockingly, it wasn’t this isn’t the first time said stalker has been court ordered to stay away from a star: Gun ‘N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose had a similar order placed on her too.
BEYONCE
