SHE’S usually a conservative dresser known for her classic (and covered up) choices.
But the Duchess of Cambridge has turned heads lately with some more daring outfits.
She turned heads at a garden party in Germany held in honour of the Queen, wearing a dramatic scarlet gown.
The 35-year-old wore the off-the-shoulder Alexander McQueen dress to the event, held at the British ambassador’s Berlin residence.
Kate’s dress, which she teamed with a pair of strappy Prada heels, is actually on sale around $2379 on Net-A-Porter.
It came after Kate revealed a dramatic (by her standards) shorter haircut at Wimbledon, and sported an unusually revealing frock last week, with a semi exposed back to a state dinner for the Spanish royals.
Wearing a tiara once owned by Princess Diana, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a pink Marchesa gown with a plunging neckline and low back — a daring look for the usually-conservative dresser — teamed with the pearl and diamond headpiece.
Meantime, speaking at the event in Berlin, Prince William insisted the UK and Germany would remain allies in the wake of Brexit.
“This relationship between the United Kingdom and Germany really matters,” he said, according to the Daily Mail.
“It is the product of many years of working closely together.
“It will continue despite Britain’s recent decision to leave the European Union. I am confident we shall remain the firmest of friends.”
