Britney Spears has publicly called out Alyssa Milano – after the actress posted a tweet questioning the pop star’s wellbeing.

Britney Spears accused Alyssa Milano of “bullying” after the actress posted a tweet questioning the pop star’s wellbeing.

Spears, who recently received a welfare check from police after fans also expressed concerns for her safety, took to her Instagram Stories late Tuesday to call out Milano.

“It saddens me to see things about me from people who don’t know me!!! This definitely feels like a form of bullying!!!” the Gimme More singer wrote over a screenshot of the former Charmed star’s December 20 tweet.

Britney shared Milano’s December 20 tweet with a response of her own.

“Ladies, we are supposed to be rooting for one another not pulling one another down!!!” Spears added.

Milano’s tweet read, “Someone please go check on Britney Spears.”

Milano, 50, has yet to respond to the Grammy winner’s comments.

Spears’ response comes just days after she was forced to defend her decision to temporarily deactivate her Instagram account, insisting she was “not having a breakdown”.

“Since everyone thinks they know my story. THINK AGAIN !!! A mere side of any given SUNDAY doesn’t show worship placing someones story out there … it’s a day of WELCOMING … not a righteous reply !!!” she wrote in a lengthy caption on Sunday.

“It is what it is … nope I’m not having a breakdown … I am who I am and moving forward in my life. I have never felt better !!!”

The post came after cops performed a wellness check at the Crossroads star’s California home in January because fans had dialled 911 with concerns about her wellbeing.

Several Spears fans rushed to TikTok to share their concerns, with one going as far as livestreaming his call to the police.

Just days before deleting her Instagram account, the superstar entertainer shared a cryptic post on Instagram hinting at some challenges she’s been forced to face.

“Sucks to be me,” she wrote, in part, before adding, “Giving someone I love my everything only gives me the dagger in my heart !!!”

While the reason for the cryptic caption remains unclear, some fans speculated that it could have been about Spears’ husband, Sam Asghari, who was reported to have walked out on her during a recent dinner as fans invaded their privacy.

However, Asghari was quick to put an end to the chatter, writing on his Instagram Story, “Don’t believe what you read online people.”
