The theme of this year’s event – co-founded by her mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson, and stepfather, Richard Lawson – was “Harlem Nights,” celebrating fashions from the 1920s to the 1950s.
Beyoncé oozed glamour in a black-and-white strapless Gucci gown that featured a black satin bodice and a long feathered train.
The form-fitting dress also included two sparkly stars on the bust, seemingly a nod to the singer’s home state of Texas.
Beyoncé completed her look with bright pink satin gloves, black cat-eye sunglasses, Lorraine Schwartz statement earrings and a chic clutch from Dolce & Gabbana.
Meanwhile, Jay-Z, 52, kept it classy in a black velvet tux, allowing his leading lady to be the centre of attention for the evening.
Other notable guests in attendance included Chloe Bailey and Halle Bailey, Andra Day, Courtney B. Vance and Angela Bassett.
Following the event, several of the couple’s celebrity friends complimented Beyoncé’s look in the comments section of her Instagram post documenting the gala.
“My Queen, love you forever,” wrote rapper Big Freedia.
In other Beyoncé news, Page Six reported last month that the Ivy Park co-founder has plans to take new album Renaissance on tour next year.
One insider said that Beyoncé is booking stadiums around the world for 2023, with another teasing that an official announcement can be expected soon.
A representative for the singer did not respond to request for comment.
