Halsey revealed she was hospitalised after suffering from a “very scary” seizure.
On Wednesday, the Without Me singer, 29, who uses she/they pronouns, shared a video on Instagram of herself lying in the hospital bed with an IV alongside fiancé Avan Jogia.
“Happy Late Bi Visibility Day. This year I’m celebrating by dying with a man by my side (for legal reasons that’s a joke),” she captioned the post, without sharing details about her condition.
When fans inquired about Halsey’s health on X, she revealed that she was “home from the hospital now after a few days.”
“I had a seizure! Very scary! Don’t recommend it!” she told a separate fan who asked if her health troubles were related to “chronic health issues or something new/acute.”
Halsey — born Ashley Nicolette Frangipane — has been dealing with several health issues over the years.
In June, she revealed that she was diagnosed with Lupus and a rare lymphoproliferative disorder.
Although the singer said both the diseases “are currently being managed or in remission,” she said she will likely have them “for the duration of [her] life.”
The following month, Halsey shared that she “almost lost” her life due to the illnesses while telling their fans that they regretted returning to music after getting so much hate online.
“I almost lost my life. I am not gonna do anything that doesn’t make me happy anymore. I can’t spiritually afford it,” she noted.
“When I got sick all I could think about was getting better so I could come back and be a part of THIS again, but I don’t even know what this is anymore and I want to crawl in a hole and I regret coming back.”
Halsey has also been battling endometriosis — a painful condition in which tissue that usually lines the uterus grows outside of it — which worsened after she gave birth to son Ender in 2021.
In March, the Graveyard singer said she was “back in diapers” after undergoing another endometriosis procedure.
