Princess Catherine makes surprise admission during visit to UK family hub

The Princess of Wales made a frank admission to parents and children during a surprise visit to a Windsor family centre. See what she revealed.

The Princess of Wales has admitted to needing “stress management tips” during a surprise visit to a family centre.

Kate, 41, spent time with parents and children at the Windsor Family Hub, which she called a “lifeline” for families in need of practical and emotional support.

“It’s so important to have spaces like this,” the mother of three said.

She added: “I need to come here and pick up some stress management tips.”

Dressed in a chic gingham double-breasted tailored jacket and high-waisted navy-blue cigarette trousers, the princess swapped stories with a group of mums, who are regular attendees of the space.

When Kate asked the group what they enjoyed discussing, they said the hot topics were breastfeeding, sleep patterns and weaning.

Princess Kate shares Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, with husband Prince William.

Known for her passion for early childhood development, Kate has visited several community initiatives in the Windsor area, since she moved there with her family last year.

The princess launched the landmark Shaping Us campaign in January, defined on the Royal Foundation’s website as “a major new awareness-raising campaign to increase public understanding of the crucial importance of the first five years of a child’s life.”

The campaign hopes to transform “the issue from one of scientific interest to one of the most strategically important topics of our time,” a statement says.
