Prince William made hearts swoon as he stepped out in a navy uniform for the first time in more than a decade.
William, 41, on behalf of his father King Charles, was at the Britannia Royal Naval College in Dartmouth to see more than 200 Royal Navy Cadets pass out with International Officer Cadets from Oman, Kuwait, Bangladesh, Trinidad and Tobago.
The future king appeared in good spirits as he chatted to staff and cadets and inspected the front rank of the Guard and the Royal Marines Band of Plymouth.
The last time the future king was seen in his navy uniform was in 2010, when he attended a presentation ceremony to sailors at HM Naval Base.
And it didn't go unnoticed with William’s fans taking to social media to swoon.
“Goodness Me, This Man was born to wear a uniform,” said one fan on X.
Another said: “AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN”.
Similarly a third posted: “Swoon. Prince William in Royal Navy uniform is everything I needed to see today!”
Others were quick to note William’s similarities to his late grandfather Prince Philip.
The cadets’ parade marked the completion of 29 weeks of intensive training to become junior naval officers.
The Prince of Wales attended the college in 2008 for a training course, following in the footsteps of his father and the late Duke of Edinburgh.
