Prince William mirrored his mother the late Princess Diana during a surprise appearance at a London homeless charity.
In an uplifting video, the Prince of Wales is seen wearing an apron over a festive green jumper while helping to prepare and serve food at The Passage Christmas party.
The father-of-three, 41, happily posed with guests and staff and even shared an embrace with some.
He also joined guests at the Christmas table where soup and fresh bread rolls were served for starters.
The Passage posted on X: “We had a great time at our Client’s Christmas Party yesterday! A special thank you to our RoyalPatron, Prince William @KensingtonRoyal, who joined us to prepare and serve food, and meet with those we support.
“We hope everyone had just as much festive fun as we did.”
William first visited the charity in 1993 with Prince Harry, alongside their mother Princess Diana.
Royal fans praised the future king for continuing his mother’s legacy.
“Princess Diana would be proud that Prince William is continuing her legacy work in Homelessness. He is doing what she wanted,” one wrote on X.
Another said: “Prince William, carrying on his mom’s work & building on her legacy. Princess Diana would be so proud of her eldest son, 4 the man he has become, all the things he has accomplished & the way he & Princess Catherine r raising their children. PD’s dreams 4 PW r becoming true.”
Last week, William, 41, shared a video explaining the “great work” the charity does, which includes taking “life-changing” steps to prevent homelessness and human trafficking.
“Having a place to call home is such a precious thing,” he said.
“Each and every day The Passage work tirelessly to achieve a society where homelessness doesn’t exist and where everyone has a place to call home.”
YOUNG ROYALS IN SWEET CHRISTMAS VIDEO
The Princess of Wales has spent a day with her children at a UK baby bank sorting Christmas gifts for children in need.
In a video posted online, Catherine explains to Charlotte, Louis and George that they were becoming “volunteers” for the day as the royal kids were tasked to help find Christmas presents for children their age.
Baby banks work similarly to a food bank – families experiencing hardship can access essential items such as nappies, clothes, shoes and toys for free.
“Here there’s lots of people who give up their time and there are lots of volunteers who come and help out. As you’re the volunteers this evening,” she said.
The footage starts off showing the four royals arriving by car as Louis claps in delight while taking the goodies from the boot.
The heartfelt short video captures the excitement of the royal youngsters helping before a staff member says: “Come and see what we do.”
Louis, 5, gave a cheeky look when he grabbed hold of a toy gorilla while Charlotte, 8, was in fits of giggles as she picked up a baby bodysuit.
Meanwhile, George, 10, is seen sorting through clothes and toys before he carries a huge Christmas bag full of presents while his mum knelt down with Charlotte to help sift through donated goods.
The Princess of Wales told her three children: “All these bags are donations then we have to go sort them and put them in all the boxes.”
At one stage Louis, who was also with his sibling’s at his mum’s carol concert last Friday, is seen energetically helping pack clothes.
Prince George, also eagerly folded clothes and picked up a bright Hawaiian-style shirt, and said he “wants to come back”.
Catherine then put her arm around her eldest son and said: “You can see how rewarding the work is.”
ROYALS CHRISTMAS CARD IN PHOTOSHOP FAIL?
The Prince and Princess of Wales’ Christmas card – a black and white photo of the future king and queen and their three children — appears to have suffered a photoshop fail.
The stylish photograph shows Prince William with his wife Catherine, sons Prince George and Prince Louis, and daughter Princess Charlotte smiling as they look at the camera.
They all wear black trousers and shoes, and white shirts – no Christmas decorations or garish festive jumpers this year.
The image was released on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ Instagram account on Sunday. The family stand close together, Catherine, William and George, wearing a $150 Polo Ralph Lauren shirt, in the background, with the Princess standing between her husband and her eldest son.
Louis stands in front of William, who puts his right hand on his shoulder. But in an apparent editing fail, Louis seems to be missing the middle finger on his left hand.
The image was taken by photographer Josh Shinner in Windsor earlier this year.
His previous subjects have included celebrities like singer Sam Smith.
Mr Skinner was chosen by the royal couple after photographing events surrounding the funeral of the Queen.
The royal festive cards are sent every year to friends, family and staff – but it remains to be seen if Prince William’s brother Prince Harry and wife Meghan will be getting one as tensions remain high.
A statement released on behalf of Kate and William said: “The Prince and Princess of Wales are very pleased to share a new photograph of their family. The photograph, which features on Their Royal Highnesses’ Christmas card this year, was taken by the photographer Josh Shinner earlier this year and shows The Prince and Princess with their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis in Windsor.”
The King and Queen chose a Coronation Day photo taken at Buckingham Palace for their Christmas card this year.
The image shows Charles and Camilla in the palace throne room following the Coronation in May.
Inside the King and Queen’s cards are the words “Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year.”
The couple are seen side-by-side in their full regalia in a photo taken by royal favourite Hugo Burnand.
Charles wore St Edward’s Crown and the robe of estate, with Camilla in Queen Mary’s Crown, and her Coronation dress, as they both smiled regally.
Burnand, who was chosen as official Coronation photographer, has been taking pictures of the Royal Family for more than 20 years.
