Meghan Markle, Prince Harry spotted hanging with Marvel star

The former royals were spotted with one of Hollywood’s biggest names while holidaying in Portugal recently.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were recently spotted hanging out with Marvel star Chris Evans and his new wife.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who had a secret holiday in Melides, Portugal after the Invictus Games wrapped in Germany on September 16, were seen with the Captain America actor and his actress wife Alba Baptista at a local restaurant during their stay, Page Six reports.

Meghan, 42, and Harry, 39, managed to avoid media glare during their “mega-secret” Portugal holiday last month, with their three-night romantic break emerging in the press well after the fact.

This past weekend, a source wrote into celebrity gossip Instagram deuxmoi claiming they’d witnessed the A-list gathering.

“Can confirm Chris Evans and Alba were in Portugal on their honeymoon. Saw them there in deep conversation with Harry and Meghan! Looked like Alba and Meghan were bonding in particular,” the eyewitness wrote.

A source further told Page Six the encounter was coincidental, and that the couples hadn’t met until that day.

But it seems they formed an immediate connection, with the publication further claiming they proceeded to “hang out”.

According to Telegraph, the Sussexes reportedly visited Harry’s cousin Princess Eugenie, who has a part-time home in Portugal where her husband Jack Brooksbank works.

Meghan and Harry are understood to have left the country on September 20 to reunite with their children, Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2, back in California.

Meanwhile, Evans, 42, and Baptista, 26, were married last month in Boston after dating for at least one year.

Evans’ Marvel co-stars were guests at the intimate ceremony, including Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth and Jeremy Renner.

Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Bryan Greenberg and Jamie Chung were also in attendance.

The newlyweds later visited Europe for their honeymoon, with Baptista hailing from Portugal.

Page Six reports they had a second wedding in the European country so Baptista’s family could attend.
