Selena Gomez has seemingly confirmed fans’ speculation that she is dating music producer Benny Blanco with a blunt message on a celebrity news fan account.
The singer, who worked with Blanco on her 2021 song I Can’t Get Enough, posted “facts” underneath PopFaction’s Instagram post with the headline “Selena Gomez Seemingly Confirms That She Is In a Relationship”.
Gomez, 31, also “liked” the account’s post titled: “Selena Gomez Is Rumoured To Be Dating Producer Benny Blanco”, then defended her apparent new boyfriend in the comments section as trolls took aim.
“He has treated me better than any human being on this planet,” she told one user, while pointing out to another: “He’s still better than anyone I’ve ever been with. Facts.”
It was a rare outpouring of social media activity for the Only Murders In The Building star, but is just the latest in a number of clues that the pair are dating.
The Back To You singer recently promoted Blanco’s new book, sharing an Instagram Story highlighting its release and writing: “One of my favs releasing a cook book.”
According to PopFaction, Gomez’s mother has also begun following the producer on Instagram, while he shared an Instagram Story of a note from his “girlfriend”, which also featured a female sleeping in the background who looked remarkably like Gomez.
Prior to being linked with Blanco, Gomez was spotted looking cosy with The Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart in January, and previously dated The Weeknd and Justin Bieber.
Meanwhile, Blanco reportedly was previously dating actress Elsie Hewitt.
