Mariah Carey fans slam James Packer romance in Instagram posts

LIKE any loved-up couple, Mariah Carey and James Packer can’t seem to stop flaunting their new romance on social media. And the diva’s fans aren’t holding back.

THEIR blossoming romance has the whole world talking.

And like most couples in the first flush, it seems that Mariah Carey and James Packer just can’t stop flaunting their new-found love on social media.

More images of Mimi and her billionaire beau have made their way onto Instagram as the pair party up a storm in the Mediterranean with Hollywood’s elite on Packer’s yacht the Arctic P.

And the latest pictures posted by Carey and her pals have attracted a number of fan comments ranging from the supportive to the downright bitchy.

One cosy image shows Carey-Packer posing with director Brett Ratner — Mariah’s rumoured ex-lover and James’s Ratpac business partner — and Warner Bros CEO Kevin Tsujihara.

Referring to Packer, wearing his usual uniform of designer black trackies, one Instagram user commented, “Is that Mariah Carey boyfriend in black wow there is hope for me then lol”.

Another was more upfront, posting a heartfelt plea to the golden-voiced diva: “You are too good for James packer”.

Clearly not everyone was a fan of Mariah’s entourage of movie moguls. “I wish she was alone in this pic because she looks so amazing,” one Instagrammer posted.

“Don’t know who any of them are but you look great,” another fan posted to Carey.

Not everyone was critical though, with one supporter — clearly not a Nick Cannon fan — exclaiming: “YESSS Mimi!!! U bounce back with a billionaire. That’s how it’s done lol. #upgrade #alwaysupgrade”.

Another excitable MC lover got a bit confused — misspelling Packer’s surname — but the sentiment was sincere: “What yall think of M’s new billionaire boo James Parker? I’m so excited she has moved on and is happy. The pic of them holding hands reminds me of new love”.

The latest Carey-Packer picture was taken by Hollywood producer and Carey employee Stella Bulochnikov, who was also feeling the love as she pouted up a storm on the Arctic P.

Posting an image of herself with Warner Bros CEO Tsujihara and Packer, Bulochnikov — who could give Carey a run for her money in the glamour stakes — described the yacht as “the coolest boat on the planet”.

For her part, a glowing Carey posted a dreamy image of herself looking into the horizon as the Arctic P zoomed out of Italy, prompting one Instagram fan to comment, “You look happy. I hope u are happy Mariah.”
