Isla Fisher’s saucy photo stuns Sacha Baron Cohen amid $120m divorce

The former couple shared an unexpected public exchange on Instagram amid reports their $120m divorce has turned into a “war”.

Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen have put on a very friendly public display, despite recent reports their divorce was turning into a “war”.

The Australian actress shared an Instagram post featuring a gorgeous image from a recent photo shoot for Style Magazine.

Cohen, 53, was quick to express his admiration, telling her in the comment section that it was a “stunning photo shoot”, which Fisher “liked” and then replied “Thank you”, alongside a blushing emoji.

The amicable interaction follows reports that the divorce of the former couple, who wed in 2010 and announced their split in 2024, is set to become a “war” as they work out the division of their £60 million (A$119,084,160) fortune.

According to the Daily Mail, Fisher’s candid remarks about their split in an interview with The Sunday Times recently had left her ex feeling “utterly betrayed”.

Speaking about how she’d gotten through the break-up, Fisher said: “The women in my life have held me … the female relationships that I cultivated in our business, those women have been there for me.

“I’m sitting here today because of them. I’ve learnt so much about the power of female friendship and I’ve just learnt that I do have resilience, who I am outside of a partnership, and what my values are. It’s been this expansive learning curve,” she continued.

A source told The Mail that Cohen had seen the remarks as a subtle dig at him, given that they had quietly broke up around the time that Rebel Wilson alleged in her memoir that she’d felt “humiliated” by him and claimed he’d sexually harassed her on the set of their 2016 film, Grimsby.

Cohen has vehemently denied Wilson’s claims as “demonstrably false”.

But addressing Fisher’s recent interview, the insider alleged that the scandal was partially responsible for the couple’s split.

“This [Fisher’s] comment left Sacha furious, “the source told the Mail.

“It felt like a blatant statement that she was on side with Rebel, the whole women sticking together thing was obvious and that is what he drew from the situation and it has made him very cross and upset.

“They have always been very private people so Isla speaking out was a massive shock to him, and a clear sign she isn’t going to be the doting wife anymore,” they told the outlet, adding that “any remaining veneer of civility has gone.”

However, another insider painted quite a different picture to Page Six over the weekend, insisting it was all “going smoothly”.

“All divorces have their challenges, but things have gone pretty smoothly with Isla and Sacha,” the source said.

“Their announcement was well co-ordinated and struck the right tone [with] their tennis photo, they both have made their kids a priority.”

During her deeply personal Times interview, Fisher also admitted that the divorce was “the most difficult thing” she’d been through, and that she’d “learnt so much” about herself in the process.

“I never imagined my family being separated but we are committed and loving parents,” she explained, adding that her parents had had an amicable split when she was nine years old, and that was the “blueprint” for her own situation.

“That’s the dream,” Fisher told the publication.

Both Fisher and her British ex live in London, where they co-parent their three children.
