The Aussie TV host has shared a hospital bed selfie to social media, revealing her “pretty big” health news as she urged people to take care.

Julia Morris has revealed her frightening health scare as the Australian comedian underwent a procedure this week.

The I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! co-host took to Instagram to inform followers she had a “pretty big” skin cancer removed from her face, alongside a photo of herself sporting her signature smile from her hospital bed with a bandage across her forehead.

“How is your 50+ working out for you? I wish I had used it more in my life,” Morris, 56, began her caption.

“Another pretty big skin cancer removed this week. Going to have to up my eyebrow drawing game,” she continued.

“The Aussie sun is no joke and while I lived like a pig on a spit in my 20s, I’m absolutely suffering the consequences now. Please slip slop slap and as always, early detection is key.”

Morris’ famous friends took to the comment section sending well wishes to the TV star, while also praising her for raising awareness.

“Sending a giant hug from all of us!” Bindi Irwin wrote, while Morris’ former I’m A Celeb co-host Dr Chris Brown added, “I hope you’re doing ok. Plus, you rock a headband. I’m sure it’s fashion somewhere …”

Fellow Channel 10 star Melissa Leong wrote, “A most relevant reminder. Sending love.”

Influencer Olivia Molly Rogers added, “Sending you love Queen J, thank you for sharing.”

The three-time Gold Logie nominee missed out on TV’s most coveted honour at the Logies in August, where she was nominated alongside her new I’m A Celeb co-host Robert Irwin. Channel 7 star Larry Emdur ultimately took out the gong.

Irwin and Morris will return as co-hosts for the 11th season of the show next year.
