Suri Cruise seen crying on the phone while walking around New York

The teenage daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes has been seen bursting into tears while on the phone during a walk in New York.

Suri Cruise has been spotted breaking down in tears during an emotional phone call on the streets of New York.

The 18-year-old, who is the daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, was photographed appearing distressed as she walked around Brooklyn.

At one stage, Suri rested her hand on her head as she sobbed over the phone.

The soon-to-be college student was also seen wiping tears from her eyes.

Suri continued to cry after getting off the phone, the troubling photos showed.

Suri, who was born in California, has lived in New York with her Dawson’s Creek actress mother, 45, for most of her life.

It’s long been reported she is estranged from Cruise, 62, who it’s understood she last saw in person in 2013, just one year after the former Hollywood it couple announced their divorce after six years marriage.

Meanwhile, Suri is soon expected to start her college studies at the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

It’s been reported she will be studying fashion.

In rare comments about her private daughter, Holmes praised Suri for having “her own sense of style” in a June interview with theSunday Times.

However, the star joked that her daughter sometimes sneaks into her wardrobe for inspiration.

“Sometimes the basics definitely disappear. But that’s fine,” Holmes said, noting that she has “saved some things here and there” to give the teen.

Suri’s enrolment at the university was first revealed in a since-deleted TikTok posted by one of her classmates in early June.

In the video, Suri proudly repped a sweatshirt from the university for “LaG commitment day.”

That same month, Suri was all smiles as she was photographed attending her high school graduation.
