When it comes to having very rich parents, Rocco Ritchie is one of the lucky few to know how this feels.

That’s why it will come as a surprise to fans that Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s son, 23, has been caught trying to flog an old sofa - despite his parents’ billion-dollar fortune.

The only biological child of the former couple has been spotted on Instagram trying to sell off a brown couch to fans, reportsThe Sun.

This is despite Rocco’s mum Madonna, 65, being worth $1.6 billion and film director dad Guy, 55, having a fortune of $289 million.

His parents were married in 2000, before divorcing eight years later.

Rocco’s mother has made her extreme wealth after launching to fame in the 80s as a pop icon, while his father is known for his blockbuster movies like Snatch.

But despite having the means to get his hands on cash whenever he likes, frugal Rocco has been caught flogging his stuff.

Now living in London, he has toured with his mother all over the world.

He has numerous half-siblings including older sister, Lourdes Leon, Madonna’s daughter from her relationship with actor Carlos Leon.

Rocco’s other half-siblings are brothers Rafael and Levi and half-sister Rivka from his father’s marriage to model Jacqui Ainsley.

He also has four adopted siblings.

Meanwhile, Rocco is forging a name for himself in the art world after attending London’s Central Saint Martins college to do a fine art course.

He then studied at the Royal Drawing School.

Rocco paints under the pseudonym Rhed, and co-founded his own gallery, Maison Rhed, with two friends.

Last year, his mum Madonna left fans concerned when she revealed she’d suffered lung and kidney failure, with doctors fitting her with a breathing cannula to help keep her alive.

Speaking on stage in Paris at the Accor Arena, the emotional singer said: “I was in the hospital. I was in the ICU. My lungs weren’t working, I wasn’t breathing on my own.

“My kidneys were failing. I was infected with some bacteria that nobody knows about. And there is a 40 per cent mortality rate.

“When I woke up I saw all my children around me and I thought this is what will save me. My children will save me. It’s not me who saved them.”
