COLLINGWOOD legend Dane Swan lived up to his larrikin reputation on Brownlow night, unloading a series of controversial tweets from Sportsbet’s Twitter account.
Swan drew plenty of attention for his lighthearted take on the glitz and the glam of the event last year on the betting company’s profile, and has made the most out of the opportunity to ruffle feathers in 2017.
âHeâs just starting to get a real personality.â Great hearing Dangerâs wife talking about him. Sure the baby will get one soon too #Brownlow

But Oliver was happy to jump in and join the sledging, firing back at Swan on social media for some lighthearted back and forth.

Mate, now that I've done both, I can tell you it's a lot harder than playing footy... or the Dees. (And the chicks love it)

No stranger to AFL’s night of nights, Swan also had a few choice tips for players hoping to survive the experience.
Lads, Pro-tip from a veteran: Hoard some beers under your table now, because when the count starts the bar closes. Thank me later. #Brownlow

This yearâs retiring players? Weâll still be here when the granny starts! #Brownlow

The club legend was clearly given free reign to say whatever he felt with the betting company’s account, and attendees felt the brunt of it at times.
BT should probably roam out into the hall, down the escalators and out the door. #Brownlow

But when it came down it, Swan knew how to deliver the classic lines that earnt him his larrikin reputation in the first place.
Well, thatâs it - thatâs the most footy Iâve watched this season. #Brownlow
