Britney Spears has accused her son Jayden of being “self-entitled” and undermining her during a post on social media.
Audio was shared on Instagram of Spears addressing Jayden’s behaviour towards her and questioning whether he was acting “hateful” towards her because the money and gifts were about to end soon.
Her social media rant was in response to a bombshell interview the 15-year-old did, where he said Spears struggled to give her sons attention and equal love.
Spears’ pointed words were directed at her youngest son, who she had with ex Kevin Federline, attacking him saying he hoped she would get better.
“So Jayden, as you undermine my behaviour as my whole family always has with ‘I hope she gets better, I will pray for her’. Pray for what?” Spears asked.
“I keep working so I can pay off mum’s legal fees and her house. Do you guys want me to get better so I can continue to give your Dad $40,000 a month? Or is the reason behind you guys being so hateful is because it’s actually over in two years and you don’t get anything?”
The Hit Me Baby One More Time singer said if she did not shower them with gifts or have “amazing food ready” it was “never good enough”.
“That one time I asked to see you more, you called your Dad and I never saw you again,” Spears said.
“You secretly loved looking at me as if something was wrong with me.
“I didn’t need a family whispering s--t behind my back, feeling subconsciously guilty because I paid for every f---ing thing in both homes.
“It saddens me that not one of you have valued me as a person.”
It comes after reports Spears has not seen her sons in six months.
“We’ve been through so much pressure in the past that this is our safe place now, to process all the emotional trauma we’ve been through to heal, heal our mental state,” Jayden told the Daily Mail earlier this month.
Speaking about his mum, he said: “I just want her to get better mentally. When she gets better I really want to see her again”.
Federline’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan said custody arrangements of the children were for both parties to figure out.
He said the teenagers did not feel comfortable around Spears.
