Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ ex-assistant ‘Mia’ says he sexually assaulted her

A former assistant of Sean Combs claimed the mogul threw her against a wall, into a pool, and threw an ice bucket at her head as well as rape her. Catch up on the trial’s biggest bombshells.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs' former PA takes the stand in rapper's trial

The trial of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who is accused of racketeering and sex trafficking but denies all charges, is now in its 12th day in a Manhattan court. Here are the latest bombshells.

DAY 12:

ASSISTANT ’MIA’ WASN’T ALLOWED A LOCK ON HER BEDROOM DOOR

“Mia”, not her real name, testified that her boss Sean “Diddy” Combs forbade locks on bedroom doors. Only the male security guards were allowed to have them.

She also said the rapper interviewed her for the job while wearing his underwear.

DIDDY WOULD CONFISCATE ALL CASSIE’S THINGS IF HE WAS UPSET

Mia said Diddy paid for all cassie Ventura’s possessions and would simply take them away from her when he was upset with her.

CASSIE ‘STARTED GUSHING BLOOD’

Mia testified about once trying to intervene to stop the music mogul’s attack on girlfriend Cassie Ventura.

“He threw me against he wall so quick and so easily and I realised we were in real danger,” Mia said, noting that stylist Deonte Nash also tried to stop the assault.

But the Bad Boy Records founder didn’t relent and he threw Ventura on the bed and she cut her face on the corner.

“She just started gushing blood,” Mia said.

Combs instructed Mia to call a friend who had a doctor connection and tell them “Cass was drunk and hit her head,” Mia recalled.

HIGHS AND LOWS INCLUDED SEXUAL ASSAULT: MIA

“The highs were really high and the lows were really low,” Mia testified.

“He’s thrown things at me, he’s thrown me against the wall, he’s thrown me into a pool, he’s thrown an ice bucket on my head,” Mia said.

“He has slammed my arm into a door and he’s also … sexually assaulted me,” she told prosecutor Madison Smyser.

Mia testified she was expected to work for days on end without sleep, subsisting on her ADHD medicine.

She claims she had a “physical breakdown.”

DAY 11:

SILKY FABRIC THWARTS MOLOTOV COCKTAIL

Diddy’s love rival Kid Cudi’s Porsche may have been destroyed by a molotov cocktail, but it could have been a lot worse if a silky, designer handkerchief wasn’t used.
An LA fire investigator told the court the flaming projectile used to destroy the luxury car of the rapper, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, was made from a liquor bottle and an expensive handkerchief.

“The fire smouldered out … and didn’t cause the damage that it was intended for,” investigator Lance Jimenez told the court.

“In my opinion, this was targeted.”

His evidence came after LA police officer Christopher Ignacio gave evidence he responded to an earlier complaint from Mescudi after Combs allegedly broke into his West Hollywood home.
No one was ever charged or arrested over the break in.

DAY 10:

DIDDY TOLD ASSISTANT HE WOULD ‘KILL KID CUDI’

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ex-assistant, Capricorn Clark, told jurors the hip-hop mogul said he was going to “kill” Kid Cudi after discovering he was dating Cassie Ventura.

Clark said the Bad Boy Records founder came to her apartment “livid” and holding a gun, telling her “get dressed, we’re going to kill this n***a” — referring to Kid Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi.

‘THROW YOU IN THE EAST RIVER’: DIDDY’S THREAT

Clark testified that she was once forced to take lie detector tests after Combs’ diamond jewellery vanished and was told she’d be thrown in the East River if she failed five days of tests, which were inconclusive.

‘HANDPRINTS ON THE WALL, BABY OIL EVERYWHERE’

Capricorn Clark told jurors that after the music mogul stayed at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles, there was “a lot of baby oil everywhere.”

Clark said she had to help unpack Combs’ bags for his three-to-four day hotel stints — including baby oil, personal lubricant, and ecstasy.

After a stay at the InterContinental Hotel the room was left covered in baby oil.

“I could see handprints left on the Ultrasuede wall,” Clark told the jury. “It was just a lot of baby oil everywhere. It wasn’t just necessarily on the wall.”

DAY 9:

‘WHAT THE F**CK’: KID CUDI TESTIFIES ON TORCHED CAR

Mescudi described one day when Ventura called him sounding “scared” and “nervous” as she told him that Combs had found out about their fling.

His car was destroyed and jurors were shown six photos of the mangled wreck found next to a molotov cocktail.

Ventura previously testified that in his fury over the love triangle, Combs had threatened to blow up Mescudi’s vehicle.

HOTEL CHARGED DIDDY THOUSANDS FOR EXCESSIVE OIL USE

The L’Ermitage hotel’s internal notes about Combs detailed how rooms that the Bad Boy Records founder stayed in had to be placed “out of order” for a deep cleaning because he “always spills candle wax on everything and uses excessive amounts of oil,” jurors heard during the testimony of general manager Frédéric Zemmour.

“Please authorise an extra $1000 when guest stays with us to cover any room damage,” the hotel’s profile of Combs read.

DAY 8:

‘YOU ARE A LEGEND’: DIDDY’S INSPIRATIONAL BATHROOM QUOTES

Diddy’s bathroom mirror was scrawled with handwritten messages hyping up the once-beloved hip-hop star, a photo from the federal raid on his Miami Beach mansion shows.

“You a legend,” “You’re an icon Puff Daddy” and “Upward Motion” could be seen written on the mirror in a photo from the March 25, 2024, raid.

Whether Combs wrote the inspirational messages – which included “What Do You WANT?” – was unclear.

The photograph was on of dozens tendered to the court which showed the raid on his Florida home by federal agents.

DAY 7:

‘DIDDY TOOK DRUGS EVERY DAY’: FORMER PERSONAL ASSISTANT

Ex-personal assistant David James testified that Combs kept various pill bottles in his toiletry bag, a Louis Vuitton pouch that previous witnesses Cassie Ventura and Dawn Richard both testified that Combs called his “med bag.”

Combs kept pills including Viagra, weight loss pills, Percocet, ecstasy, water pills, and “sperm booster” pills in the bag, which James testified he kept by his side at all times.

James testified that Combs took drugs “every day.”

EXOTIC DANCER HIRED FOR 12 FREAK-OFFS

Sean “Diddy” Combs would throw condoms and cash down as he ordered around Cassie Ventura and an escort Sharay “The Punisher” Hayes during “freak-offs,” graphic testimony revealed.

Hayes testified he understood he was there “to create a scene” and Combs was sort of like a movie director during the sex marathons while he and Ventura were like actors in the scenarios.

DAY 6:

DIDDY PAID OFF CASSIE’S BESTIE AFTER BEATING HER

Ventura’s former best friend Kerry Morgan said Combs choked her and beat her up with a wooden coat hanger before he paid her $US30,000 for her silence.

Ventura had Morgan sign a nondisclosure agreement, and that was the last time they ever spoke to each other, ending a 17-year friendship, Morgan told the jury.

DIDDY HAD BIRTH CONTROL DELIVERED BY DRUG DEALER

Singer Dawn Richard told the court Combs had his drug dealer bring him birth control along with other street drugs.

Richard said she saw Combs buy and take a slew of party drugs including MDMA, cocaine, ketamine and marijuana.

DAY 5:

VENTURA FELT ‘WORTHLESS’ DURING FREAK OFFS

Ms Ventura broke into tears on the witness stand in a New York court when asked about the depraved sex acts Combs allegedly forced her into – and beatings he inflicted during his “freak-offs.”

When asked how she felt getting beaten by Combs during the sex marathons, Ventura responded: “Worthless. Um, just like dirt. Like I didn’t matter to him. Like I was nothing. Absolutely nothing.”

VENTURA CHEATED ON NOW-HUSBAND WITH DIDDY

Ventura also testified that she cheated on then-boyfriend, now-husband, Alex Fine with Combs after she had split up with him and after an alleged sexual assault.

Ventura confirmed to the court that she got a FaceTime call from her now-husband, Alex Fine, the last time she and Sean “Diddy” Combs slept together in September 2018.

The two were intimate a few days after Combs allegedly raped Ventura, following their break-up.

‘I WILL CUT YOU’: CASSIE THREATENS MAN OVER SEX TAPE

In court, jurors heard a clip of an audio recording from 2014 when Ventura was threatening to kill a man who claimed he’d seen a sexually explicit video of her.

“I will kill you if you don’t show me right now,” Ventura could be heard yelling in the recording. “I will cut you up and put you in the f**king dirt right now.”

LAWYER CLAIMS COMBS’ BIPOLAR ‘BEHIND RAPE’

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ lawyer tried implying that his alleged 2018 sexual assault of ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura could have been linked to his bipolar disorder.

It was the first time the defence mentioned a potential bipolar diagnosis at Combs’ trial.

DAY 4:

‘I’M ALWAYS READY TO FREAK OFF’: CASSIE’S TEXTS

The jury was shown messages that Ventura sent to Combs saying she was excited to partake in “freak-offs.”

“I’m always ready to ‘freak-off’ lol,” Ventura said in a BlackBerry message on August 5, 2009, two years into their relationship.

In another message from that day, Ventura tells Combs: “I can’t wait to stare at some big black d-k.”

DAY 3:

IV FLUIDS, DAYS TO RECOVER

Ms Ventura explained how she and Combs would recover from freak offs.

“Usually we’d get IV fluids, massages, we’d eat, the chef would cook us some food, just trying to take care of ourselves,” she said.

Ms Ventura said that she developed health problems including stomach issues from the drug use and urinary tract infections that often didn’t go away for weeks.

She said she also developed painful sores on her tongue from licking body oil and lubricant and from the friction of oral sex with escorts.

Ms Ventura said that during the encounters she took drugs including ecstasy, ketamine and cocaine, and that the “drugs honestly helped” her meet Combs’s demands.

COMBS IN JEALOUS RAGE

The court heard in about 2011, Ms Ventura began secretly dating rapper Kim Cudi, real name Scott Mescudi.

Ms Ventura said Combs found out while the pair were in the middle of a freak off when he went through her phone and looked at emails she had exchanged with one of his staff members.

“He (Combs) put a wine bottle opener between his fingers and lunged at me,” she said.

“His eyes were black … I got out of there.”

DAY 2:

‘COMBS WOULD URINATE ON VENTURA’

Combs would allegedly urinate on Ventura, sometimes at the same time he directed a male prostitute to urinate on her during their “freak-offs,’’ she testified.

She said that once when an escort peed into her mouth during the “humiliating’’ encounters, “It was overwhelming. I choked,’’ the witness said.

‘SEAN INTRODUCED ME TO VOYEURISM’

“Within the first year of our relationship Sean introduced to me this sexual encounter he called voyeurism where he would watch me have sexual intercourse with a third party, specifically another man,” she said.

“It basically entails the hire of an escort and setting up this experience so I could perform for Sean.”

She said she quickly decided it was something she didn’t want to do.

“Again I was just in love and wanted to make him happy,” Ms Ventura said when asked why she kept participating.

“I didn’t feel like I had much of a choice.”

DIDDY GAVE VENTURA ECSTASY ON A BOAT

She said the pair first had sex when Combs hired a boat in Miami. He introduced her to drugs on that trip, giving her an ecstasy pill.

They started a relationship that she believed was monogamous but later learned was not.

“After Miami I really fell in love with him,” Ms Ventura said.

“We had fun, it was kind of like my first real adult relationship.”

Combs would control everything about her life, including what she wore, who she went, who she talked to and her career.

Ms Ventura said if she didn’t answer a call or text message, Combs would repeatedly call and message until she answered, or send his bodyguards and assistants to physically find her.

‘HIT HER IN THE FACE’

The violence also escalated and she said during the relationship she was hit, kicked, thrown to the ground and stomped on by Combs.

“You make the wrong face and the next thing I know I was getting hit in the face,” she said.

“If I wasn’t smiling at him the way he wanted, if I just looked a certain way…”.

She said the relationship was marked by jealousy on both sides and they were both unfaithful during the decade-long on and off romance.

CASSIE TASKED WITH FINDING ‘BLACK MALE WITH LARGE PENIS’

Ventura testified that Combs tasked her with finding the male escorts for “freak-offs”, which she initially sourced through classified companies Craigslist and Backpage.

She said she answered ads on Craigslist for male sex workers who Combs preferred to be “a black male with a large penis.”

Cassie Ventura gave chilling testimony at the trial.

‘FREAK-OFFS’ BECAME ‘A JOB’

Ventura said despite her 10 album deal with Bad Boy Records, recording hundreds of songs and her relationship with the head of the company, Combs only allowed her to release one of the albums promised.

“Plainly the freak-offs became a job where there was no space to do anything but recover and try to feel normal again,” Ventura said.

DAY 1:

‘I SAW HIM HIT HER’: MALE ESCORT TESTIFIES

One of the men allegedly paid to have sex with Combs’ then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura was 41-year-old Daniel Philip.

Mr Philip said his association with the couple ended because he could no longer become aroused “after the first time I saw him hit her”.

He said Combs grabbed Ms Ventura by her hair and dragged her to the bedroom.

“She was screaming,” Mr Philip said. “I could hear what sounded like him slapping her … and him (saying) ‘b---h, when I tell you to come here you come now, not later’.”

‘DEVILISH STARE’: HOTEL SECURITY GUARD ON COMBS

Israel Florez, a security guard at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles and now a police officer, testified that he was on duty during the 2016 assault of Ms Ventura.

Combs had a “devilish” look on his face following his alleged brutal caught-on-video beating of Ventura, jurors heard.

The rapper offered Florez a “stack of money” topped with a $100-bill, telling him to “take care of this.”
