BEC Judd has blasted a teenage paparazzo who gets driven around by his mum so that he can take photos of the model and her children. And the photos aren’t even worth that much.
Judd spoke about the pesky pap on KIIS FM’s 3 PM Pick Up yesterday after earlier posting about the amateur photographer on Instagram.
“I reckon he’s about 17,” Judd told her radio co-host, Katie ‘Monty’ Dimond.
“He’s a paparazzo and he waits outside my house and, get this, his mum drives him ... First you wait outside my house like a creep and you wait for me to reverse out of my driveway and then you’re up my bum and following me wherever I go. When I park, you jump out of the car and you take photos of my children without permission.”
The TV presenter acknowledged that people often “eye-roll” when celebrities complain about being hounded by the paparazzi but she said when her kids are involved “it’s different”.
“I don’t think people understand that ... anyone can take any photo of your children [in public places] provided it’s not of a sexual nature and sell it without your permission and there’s nothing you can do about it.”
Judd slammed the paparazzo’s mum who she claimed drives the teenager over from Adelaide to Melbourne just so he can snap photos of her.
“I think being a child pap and stalking other peoples kids is so wrong,” she said.
“I wonder what the price on your head is?” asked Katie ‘Monty’ Dimond.
“About $200, they’ve told me,” Judd replied.
“The petrol over from Adelaide would cost more. How ridiculous!”
During the show, Judd also opened up about a recent experience she had with body-shaming on set of Channel Nine’s Postcards.
“So I’m sitting there preparing for a piece to camera. I had a massive bowl of chilli mussels in front of me and a big hunk of sourdough,” she began.
“The cameraman is setting up and I hear this group of women - they would have been in their sixties - and they were like, ‘as if she’s going to eat that!’”
The presenter explained that right before she took a bite, the producers called ‘cut!’ and told her not to touch the food.
“I leave the shot and the camerman moves in to do a close-up [of the food],” she said.
“The presenters on Postcards never eat the food. The women, they don’t know that’s how we shoot, and I hear them go, ‘typical, told you, she didn’t eat it!’
“You don’t grow four babies not eating.”
The 3 PM Pick Up airs weekdays from 3 — 4PM on the national KIIS Network
