Don't miss out on the headlines from Golden Globes. Followed categories will be added to My News.
A promotional girl’s shameless attempts to get noticed on the red carpet of one of Hollywood’s biggest awards nights has paid off.
The serial photobomber strategically positioned herself adjacent to almost every industry A-lister at the glittering event, upstaging the likes of seasoned glamour girls Nicole Kidman, Amy Adams and Heidi Klum.
Model Kelleth Cuthbert seemed determined to make her mark on the night where cameras were in abundance, becoming an overnight viral sensation.
Clad in a blue tiered dress with black bows and holding a tray of Fiji water, the young brunette gazed knowingly into the camera.
But who was she? Where did she come from? And how did she know how to work a room like that?

Entertainment website E! News in an exclusive has now revealed the identity of the Fiji Water Girl. E! News tracked down the model and even awarded her “Best Supporting Actress On A Red Carpet” to reward her for her plucky ploy at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, California.

In a video made for the E! News Instagram account, Cuthbert thanks those who helped make her rapid ascent to “fame” possible:
“Wow, oh wow, I wasn’t really expecting this at all,” says Cuthbert in her “acceptance” speech in which she describes herself as “a normal girl” who was miraculously discovered on the night of nights.
“I’d like to thank a few people,” she says.
“To Richard Madden — thank you for giving me my start … to Dakota Fanning and Luke Evans for allowing me the space to have my best angle,” Cuthbert said tongue in cheek. “Nicole Kidman, I have always wanted to work with you so thank you.”
And last but not least Cuthbert thanks water.
“If these celebs weren’t so thirsty, I wouldn’t have been able to serve the way that I did.”
Cuthbert’s photobombs were for many the highlight of the Golden Globes and have launched many memes and a legion of Twitter fans.
Somebody even went so far as to start a Fiji Water Girl Twitter account, posting memes in which Cuthbert turns up in unlikely places, including on the surface of the moon.

Who knows if we’ll see Cuthbert gracing our screens again. The model, who is represented by the Wilhemina agency, has almost 170,000 followers on Instagram. Maybe this is her fifteen minutes of fame. And maybe she has a few more refreshing photobombing tricks up her sleeve.
