RICHARD Wilkins has a new girlfriend. And to prove it, she arrived with him at the ARIA Awards flaunting some serious flesh.

RICHARD Wilkins has turned heads on the red carpet at the 2017 ARIA Awards — but it’s his girlfriend people were paying attention to.

Oh yeah — surprise! Wilkins has a girlfriend. It seems some people missed the news which surfaced in newspaper gossip columns last month.

The notoriously private Today presenter is dating 50-year-old former dancer Virginia Burmeister, and the pair have been making some quiet public appearances at events around Sydney in recent months.

Arriving at the ARIA Awards in Sydney on Tuesday afternoon, the pair posed proudly together on the red carpet. And Burmeister had no issue flaunting some serious flesh in a sheer, form-fitting frock.

The dress left little to the imagination — and had a strategic floral print covering her modesty.

The Sydney blonde is a former dancer who recently separated from investment banker Mark Burmeister. The Daily Telegraph reported last month Burmeister was “a Bluebell dancer at Le Lido Paris following her graduation from Monte Sant Angelo school in the late 80s”.

Sources within Sydney’s finance scene also confirmed Burmeister shares three kids with her “extremely wealthy” ex.

Given Wilkins has six children of his own, their pairing does make a rather delightful Brady Bunch-style scenario which could potentially lead to a terrific new reality show.
