Keanu Reeves and all the celebs that took their mums as their Oscars dates

Hollywood sweetheart Keanu Reeves has brought his beautiful mother as his date to the Oscars and... Swoon.

We thought we couldn't love Keanu Reeves any more.

That is, until he rocked up to today’s Oscars with his beautiful date, his mother Patricia Taylor.

The darling gentleman, who has well and truly found a place in all our hearts thanks to his humble nature, is presenting at the 92nd annual Academy Awards, and also starred in the nominated film Toy Story 4 (which just won Best Animated Feature).

Reeves’ costume designer mum looked ageless in a crisp white suit with diamond choker, as she held her famous son’s arm on the red carpet.

And it turns out this year’s Oscars was a family affair across the board.

Several stars brought their mums along as their plus ones, including Charlize Theron, who was joined by her mum Gerda Jacoba Aletta Maritz, and Laura Dern, whose mum Diane Ladd also attended.

Little Women star and Best Supporting Actress nominee Florence Pugh was side-by-side with her mum, Deborah, as was Janelle Monae who attended with her mother dearest, Janet.
