Megan Fox has issued an “incredibly weird” tribute to fiance Machine Gun Kelly that has baffled fans, as she congratulated her 32-year-old beau, not for winning a Grammy – which he didn’t — but rather for his new-found “maturity”.

Fox made the tribute via Instagram after MGK failed to pick up an award at Monday’s ceremony, saying she was proud of him for being so mature about the disappointment.

“Congratulations on being in the very small percentage of artists who have received a Grammy nomination,” Fox wrote.

“You have handled this process with a grace and maturity that I haven’t seen from you before and I’m so proud of you.

“Watching you walk in humility and gratitude, watching you grow into yourself and become a better man is an immeasurably more satisfying experience than watching you accept an award. Although those will come…”

The 36-year-old Jennifer’s Body star finished the post with a self-described “irrelevant” point, adding: “I will just never ever get over how beautiful your face is.”

“I hope one day you’ll see yourself the way I see you. I love you and I’ll keep this memory of you forever,” she said.

Fans took to the comment section to poke fun at the bizarre tribute, which one user described as “incredibly weird”.

“I love how she loves him for who he is,” one commenter joked, garnering 2500 likes.

“Why does this sounds like a break-up message?” asked another.

“You haven’t seen grace and maturity like being able to accept reality from him before?” questioned a third.

Fox attended the awards show pre-party touting a hot pink wrist brace and a concussion, later revealing she was suffering from painful injuries at the bash.

“Off the plane with a broken wrist and a concussion straight to a Grammys party‍,” the mother-of-three revealed on Instagram after the iconic Los Angeles event, hosted by Clive Davis.

Fox wasn’t wearing the brace in the glam social media photos she posted, but was spotted at the event with it on. She didn’t elaborate on the cause of her injuries.

Kelly’s album Mainstream Sellout was nominated for Best Rock Album, an award that was ultimately picked up by Ozzy Osbourne with Patient Number 9.

The nomination marked Machine Gun Kelly’s first Grammy nod. The musician, also known as Colson Baker, was nominated alongside The Black Keys, Elvis Costello & The Imposters, Idles, Spoon.

Kelly later told E Newshe believed he missed out on the gong because he “lacked self-love”.

“I’m always pretty uncomfortable here,” he said.

“Ultimately, I’m really happy to be in the company of such great musicians. I didn’t take the category home, and I almost feel like I asked for that lesson. Like, I felt like I lacked self-love, and I was valuing myself so much on career accomplishments that I needed this.

“The car ride here was very cathartic for me…. I need to appreciate what I already have, and once that self-love happens for me, things like the awards and all that will come.”
