MARGOT Robbie has been nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award, but the news was not good for Hugh Jackman who was a surprise snub.
Margot followed up Monday’s Golden Globe nomination with a SAG nod for I, Tonya in the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role category.
However despite getting a Golden Globe nomination, Jackman missed out at the SAG ceremony for his performance in The Greatest Showman.
Nicole Kidman, for Big Little Lies, and Geoffrey Rush, for Genius, also were nominated for the January 21 SAG Awards with nods in the TV miniseries acting categories.
Former Neighbours star Margot is up against Judi Dench for her role in Victoria & Abdul, Sally Hawkins for The Shape of Water, Frances McDormand for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and Saoirse Ronan, for Ladybird.
The 27-year-old is on track for the Oscars after receiving both the Golden Globe and SAG nods this week.
She plays disgraced figure skater Tonya Harding in the unconventional, dark-comedy biopic.
She has earned rave reviews for her performance as the foul-mouthed, ultra-competitive skater who was infamously linked to an attack on her rival Nancy Kerrigan ahead of the 1994 Winter Olympics.
The Queensland actor also co-produced the film, which opens in Australia on January 25.
