KERRI-ANNE Kennerley has finally been rewarded for her five decades on television.

The Aussie entertainment veteran was last night entered into the Logies Hall of Fame, despite the staggering fact she was yet to win one before last night.

Kennerley made her debut on Aussie TV when she was just 13 years old and went on to host a number of shows including Good Morning Australia, Midday and Kerri-Anne.

Over the years, she’s met hundreds if not thousands of stars — but at last night’s Logies, she singled out two as being the most fun she’s ever met.

“Robin Williams and Will Smith are right up the top for fun, especially Robin Williams,” Kennerley said in the Logies media room after her win.

“When you sit one metre away [from Robin Williams] ... it was like watching genius at work. You can just tell this man’s brain was on another planet. An absolute genius at work. Also, you didn’t want to get in his way because he was in complete control. You just had to wait for a breath when he slowed down where you could offer just a little option. I think we had seven minutes with him and he stayed for 55 minutes.”

As for The Fresh Prince, he was “just the best, most down to earth, fabulous guy,” according to Kennerley.

“He came with one mate and just was up for anything. We had a lot of fun and a very generous performer.

“They [both] know how to give.”

Kerri-Anne Kennerley is set to share even more of her celebrity encounters in her autobiography which she’s hoping to have out by the end of the year.

“I think I’m halfway through,” she said at the Logies.

Kennerley hasn’t yet decided on a title but she joked that she did have one potential in mind: “I was going to call it ‘Piano players I have annoyed’.”
