CATCHING Milat actor Mal Kennard allegedly punched the brother of Channel Nine TV presenter Lauren Phillips — Bo Phillips — in a scuffle and at a Logies after-party.
The incident allegedly happened at Channel Nine’s post-Logies party at Shane Warne’s nightclub, Club 23, in Crown Casino about 3.50am.
It is alleged Mr Phillips made his own way to hospital for medical attention after the scuffle.
Mr Kennard’s Sydney agent, David Sheridan, declined to comment “as is standard in relation to our clients’ personal lives”, when contacted by news.com.au.
It is understood the incident involved an “uninvited actor” — who was not a Channel 9 employee.
Mr Kennard was not invited to the private party.
“We are supporting Lauren, and will not comment further at this stage,” a Channel 9 spokeswoman said.
No complaint has been lodged with police.
An ambulance was called to report a man had collapsed — but the ambulance was then cancelled with a second phone call, an Ambulance Victoria spokesman has confirmed.
Was it something I said?

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Melbourne’s 3AW radio Mr Phillips “was not seriously injured”, but it was “certainly an ugly incident”.
Bo Phillips tweeted this morning at 8.30am: “was it something I said?”
Mr Kennard attended last night’s Logies after being nominated for a Logie for his portrayal of serial killer Ivan Milat in Channel Seven miniseries Catching Milat.
