DONALD Trump may not like it but Alec Baldwin’s impersonation of the brash billionaire has won him a gong at the Critics’ Choice Awards.
Baldwin took out Best Guest Performer in a Comedy Series for his Saturday Night Live Trump parody.
Kate McKinnon, who starred alongside Baldwin as Hillary Clinton, and who now plays Trump’s adviser Kellyanne Conwway on the hit US show also won Best Actress in a Comedy Series for Saturday Night Live.

The President-elect only recently hit out at Baldwin, taking to Twitter to express his disdain for impersonation which he said he did not find funny.
Just tried watching Saturday Night Live - unwatchable! Totally biased, not funny and the Baldwin impersonation just can't get any worse. Sad

Alec Baldwin began his SNL impersonations of Trump when the then presidential hopeful faced off against Hillary Clinton during the election campaign.
His win comes as Mel Gibson’s WWII epic Hacksaw Ridge picked up a minor awards event, after winning Best Action Movie. However, it was pipped for Best Picture and Best Director by La La Land, which swept the awards.
Austrlaian actress Margo Robbie took out Best Actress in an Action Movie for her portrayal of supervillian Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad but Nicole Kidman missed out after being nominated for Best Supporting Actress, won by Viola Davis for her role in Fences.
