The comedian’s brother Kenny has recently signed a boxing deal - and wants his first bout to be against Smith.

When asked if he thinks Chris and Will should fight it out, Kenny told Bang Showbiz: “No, they shouldn’t. But I should get in the ring with Will Smith.”

Kenny also insisted he could “take Smith down”.

He also claimed he “very seriously” doubted that his brother had accepted Smith’s apology for slapping him in a moment that rocked the world of entertainment.

Smith, who won the Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of the Williams sisters’ father in King Richard, was later banned by the Academy for 10 years.

Smith’s sudden violent outburst came after Rock mocked his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s alopecia, which has caused her to lose all her hair, by comparing her to GI Jane.

Smith laughed at first, but then stormed the stage and slapped Rock in the face.

After returning to his seat, he then shouted at Rock to “keep my wife’s name out of your f***ing mouth”.

Smith, 53, later apologised for his actions.

“My behaviour at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable,” Smith wrote on Instagram.

“Jokes at my expense are a part of the job but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally.

“I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be.

“There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness.”
