The six wives of Henry VIII take their power back in this hit musical, Six, opening at Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre next year.
The UK production sees the six wives perform with an all female band in a pop concert and it has built a huge following since opening in London last year. The pop music score has been a hit on the UK pop charts.
Producer Louise Withers said that since announcing the Sydney season earlier this year she had been swamped by fans.
