The eye-watering cost of top-tier tickets for Melbourne concerts

Desperate to see Coldplay, Pearl Jam, Olivia Rodrigo, Crowded House, Billie Eilish or any of the huge acts coming to Melbourne soon? If you’re willing to splash serious cash, you can still get a ticket.

Coldplay makes Glastonbury history with ‘extraordinary’ set at iconic festival

The eye-watering cost of top-tier tickets for popular music artists and bands coming to Melbourne has been revealed, with a seat at the Coldplay or Pearl Jam concerts later this year stinging the hip pockets of devoted fans nearly $1000.

Seeing Crowded House in style could set you back nearly $700 a ticket, while Billie Eilish tickets are going for between $400 and $600, and seats at Olivia Rodrigo’s highly anticipated concert for between $325 and $495.

Concert acquisition agency Chris Debenham is spruiking the high-end concert offerings, with some tickets including luxe extras such as pre-concert hospitality at a restaurant and others theatre and bar style seating, with food and drinks served before and throughout the session.

Here’s what’s on offer through the Chris Debenham agency if you’re desperate to see a show, have money to burn and want to rock in style — alone or with friends.
