Senior students at Trinity College in Gawler are set to benefit from a $10m upgrade to its campus which will provide increased career mentoring.
The new centre will include four flexible classroom spaces, small group areas, study and collaborative areas and offices for staff in career and mentoring roles.
Leadership at the school hopes the new build, adjacent to the school’s library, will respond to demand from students for different career opportunities and facilitate conversations with future employers.
College head Nick Hately said Trinity had “long invested in ensuring our senior students are able to access a suite of opportunities to best prepare them for life after school”.
“An increasingly changing work environment means students need a more diverse range of skills and capabilities to flourish post school,” Mr Hately said.
“This project will act as a community hub to boost engagement with employers, tertiary providers and entrepreneurs.”
It aims to provide targeted entrepreneurial opportunities and development of employment skills.
It was designed by architects Swanbury Penglase, to be built by Mossop Construction for the start of the 2026 academic year, and will run at the same time as a full refurbishment of the Gawler senior campus.
