HARDCORE porn viewing is no longer NSFW in Italy, thanks to the persistence of a Fiat factory worker.

LUNCH breaks are about to get hardcore.

Italy’s highest court has decided it’s fine to watch pornography during breaks, as long as it doesn’t interfere with your work.

The eyebrow-raising decision comes after car manufacturer Fiat sacked a worker in 2008 for watching an adult film on his personal laptop in an electricity supply room on the factory floor.

Bosses also found two other pornographic DVDs in ‘Giuseppe Z’s’ locker at the factory in Termini Imerese, Sicily, according to the Italian edition of The Local via LiveSicilia.

But the Supreme Court of Cassation in Rome said Fiat had no right to sack the worker, who enjoyed “just a glimpse of the film during a meal break.”

The lengthy legal wrangle began in 2010 when a court upheld Fiat’s decision to dismiss Giuseppe.

A court of appeal overturned the judgment a year later; a ruling backed by the Supreme Court.

However, it’s not all bad news for Fiat. In a separate case, a court in Rome ruled that the company was justified in sacking a worker who smoked marijuana during his lunch break.
