Police have released CCTV after a young woman was allegedly followed through a Melbourne suburb before being sexually assaulted.

A woman has allegedly been followed through a Melbourne suburb before being sexually assaulted along a track.
Fawkner Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives are probing the alleged incident in Greenvale on October 13.
Police said a 25-year-old Greenvale woman was walking along a track on Kirkham Drive about 7.45pm.
Senior Constable Adam West alleged as she walked past Kinloch Grove and headed towards Somerton Rd, a man started following her.
“He sexually assaulted her before running off along Kinloch Grove and was last seen running down Castlehill Ave,” he said.
On Thursday, police released CCTV of a man they believe can assist with their investigation.
The man is described as aged in his late teens to early 20s with a tanned complexion.
He was wearing a black jacket with a green inner, a black T-shirt, grey pants with a stripe and black shoes.
