Victoria has recorded 1029 new locally acquired Covid-19 infections and three more deaths.
A total of 49,818 people were tested for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.
There are 9,533 active cases in the state, with 316 people in hospital, 44 people in intensive care and 23 on a ventilator.
About 89 per cent of Victorian residents aged over 12 are fully vaccinated.
Meanwhile, NSW recorded 180 new cases and one death on Monday, with 202 people in hospital with the virus.
Restrictions eased in Victoria last week, with the state nearing its 90 per cent double-dose vaccination rate target.
Density limits were scrapped for hospitality, concerts and events with double-dosed attendees.
But masks will remain mandatory in retail settings for at least another month along with other high risk settings including public transport and healthcare settings.
