Victoria Police have arrested a man after the discovery of a woman’s body earlier this week.

Police have arrested a 22-year-old man following the discovery of a woman’s body in Melbourne’s CBD.
The 31-year-old Chinese woman was found by friends on Boxing Day after emergency services were called to Latrobe Street just after 8.30pm.
Paramedics found her dead at the scene; a subsequent post-mortem determined her cause of death was suspicious.
Victoria Police have since arrested Huntingdakle man Xiaozheng Lin, who is believed to have been known to the woman.
He was arrested on Thursday afternoon in Preston, and is now assisting police with their inquiries.
No charges have been laid at this stage.
