A bikini model and former partner of Ultra Tune boss Sean Buckley was allegedly attacked at her home last year, court documents reveal.
Jennifer Cole was traumatised by the incident and the suspect has been charged by the police, the Supreme Court of Victoria has been told.
Supreme Court documents did not specify the identity of the alleged attacker.
The revelation came in a judgment of Justice Andrew Keogh, who last week fined Ms Cole $500 for contempt of court after she texted a secret recording involving Mr Buckley.
She had been ordered not to share the recording as part of a civil proceeding brought by Mr Buckley as he seeks a Supreme Court order to have all secret recordings she made during their relationship destroyed.
Justice Keogh said the alleged attack was among several “personal and financial difficulties” Ms Cole had faced since the relationship ended.
She was now surviving on Centrelink payments and a part-time casual job while remaining the sole carer of her daughter and paying legal bills with her savings after Mr Buckley took her to court, he said.
He is seeking an order to have secret recordings Ms Cole made while they were in a relationship between 2017 and 2020 destroyed.
Justice Keogh said Ms Cole shared the recordings of Mr Buckley, who she alleges was violent, with several people, including Victoria Police at their request.
A judge ordered her in February not to share the recordings again while the court proceeding take place.
But in March she sent two group texts with an attached recording captured when she and Mr Buckley were together at the Crown Metropol Hotel in early 2020.
The content of the recordings have not been revealed in public court proceedings.
Justice Keogh said Ms Cole sent the first text about 11.30pm while in a distressed state thinking about how she had been treated by Mr Buckley while they were together.
Character references submitted to the court spoke of her “good character, her responsibility as a mother, diligent work ethic, honesty and general caring and loving nature”, he said.
Mr Buckley alleges Ms Cole distributed secret recordings of their private conversations with “malicious” intent.
She had previously sent them to media outlets before the court order was made.
Mr Buckley alleges the recording sent to media “is not accurate and has been tampered with”.
“Her allegations that Mr Buckley was violent towards her are without basis,” his lawyers told Justice Keogh.
Ms Cole is a former Ultra Tune “rubber girl”, appearing in racy ads for the company that featured women in skin-tight outfits alongside celebrities including Mike Tyson, Jean-Claude van Damme and Charlie Sheen.
She appeared in a well-known ad beside Pamela Anderson and Warwick Capper last year.
The car repair company Mr Buckley owns has more than 270 franchises that turn over $220m annually.
