Two children have survived a 10m fall from a cliff at Coffs Harbour.
A ten-year-old boy suffered multiple injuries including to his head and has been flown to John Hunter Hospital, Northern NSW Helicopter Rescue Service spokesman Graham Nickisson said.
“Mum is also travelling in the helicopter with her little boy,” he said.
A nine-year-old boy was taken to Coffs Harbour in a stable condition with minor injuries and abrasions.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was deployed at 11.25am on Saturday morning after the boys’ fall.
They fell near the southern break wall at Coffs Harbour Jetty.
“Local NSW Ambulance Paramedics and the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team have treated and stabilised the two boys,” Mr Nickisson said.
