Three men have been charged with murder over the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old Melbourne man.
Adam Tiba, 21, Tahmid Rahman, 18, and Abdullah Hammoud, 21, were arrested early on Wednesday and appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates Court that afternoon.
Police allege the group went to a property in Ella Court, Lalor on July 18 and fired a gun, striking Adrian Pacione in the head.
Mr Pacione was taken to hospital but died two days later from his injuries.
Magistrate Peter Reardon said the men were accused of firing a semiautomatic handgun into the property.
“On 18 July, 2020, Adrian Pacione was allegedly murdered at (an address) in Lalor after the three accused allegedly attended that address and discharged multiple rounds,” he said.
“As a result the three have been charged with murder.”
Three other men inside the property at the time Mr Pacione was shot were uninjured, police said.
Mr Tiba, Mr Rahman and Mr Hammoud will next appear in court in February.
