Brad Pitt shows off bizarre hairstyle at Screen Actors Guild Awards

BRAD Pitt may be 50-years-old, but he's currently sporting the haircut of a rebellious teenager. So what's the reason behind the bizarre buzz cut?

BRAD Pitt may be 50-years-old, but he's sporting the haircut of a rebellious teenager.

The actor's bizarre buzz cut was the talk of the room at the recent Screen Actors Guild Awards and again overnight at the Producers Guild Awards, which Pitt attended to promote his latest film, 12 Years A Slave.

But thankfully there's a reason for the drastic design, with Pitt telling E!, "It's for a part, it's not a choice".

The part Pitt's referring to is probably his new World War II flick Fury, which he's currently filming in the UK with Shia LaBeouf and Aussie actor Xavier Samuel.

The Hollywood heavyweight touched down in Sydney Tuesday morning and then boarded a connecting flight to the Gold Coast. He arrived solo but is expected to be joined by his partner Angelina Jolie and their six children.

Hopefully Pitt's hair will go back to normal once he's finished with his new movie, but in the meantime, here are a few photos from the past when he was sporting sexier hair.
