VIRUS SPREAD IS SLOWEST YET

The spread of the coronavirus is slowing to a crawl: "As at 6:30am on 31 March 2020, there have been 4,359 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Australia. There have been 266 new cases since 6:30am yesterday." That is a record low growth rate of just 6.6 per cent, compared to our high of 35 per cent.

As at 6:30am on 31 March 2020, there have been 4,359 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Australia. There have been 266 new cases since 6:30am yesterday.

That is a growth rate of just 6.6 per cent, compared to a high of 35 per cent.

Deaths are still at 18, but expected to rise.

But that gives us so far a fatality rate of 0.41, when the World Health Organisation figures suggest (falsely) a world-wide death rate of 4.7 per cent.
