Liz Cambage has set tongues wagging with a divisive act after confirming her bombshell $1m to a Chinese basketball team.

The shock news dropped jaws when it was first reported the 32-year-old would earn a seven-figure sum for a three-month cameo in the local league with the Sichuan women’s team based in Chengdu.

The insane money is off the charts for women’s basketball with WNBA Supermax contracts capped at $234,936 per-season.

Now she’s taken things a step further with a move that has raised eyebrows.

The divisive figure cleaned house on her Instagram account, leaving behind only 12 posts with only one showing her on a basketball court.

The other 11 posts? They showcase Cambage in a vastly different light with clothing at a minimum throughout.

It’s her most recent upload that has set social media alight with the former Australian basketball star posing on all fours across tables in one slide.

The images were uploaded with the caption “bad lil kitties doing bad lil things” and show Cambage and model Raya Martigny intertwined on a set of steps.

The racy posts and deleting her basketball history from her social media account come after she sensationally quit the Australian team and failed in her attempts in trying to be registered to represent Nigeria following the scandalous fall-out to her axing from Australia’s Tokyo Olympics campaign on the eve of the tournament.

She was famously dumped by the Aussie team after allegedly telling Nigerian players to “go back to their third world country” during a scrimmage ahead of the 2021 Games.

Cambage has repeatedly denied the allegations, despite numerous separate confirmations she made the comment — including from former Opals captain Jenna O’Hea.

She has made good so far on her promise to never represent Australia again.

Cambage’s career has been stalled for more than a year after she effectively ended her WNBA career last year when she walked out on the Los Angeles Sparks.

She most recently joined Israel-based club Maccabi Bnot Ashdod in March.

In recent years she has been known just as much for her career as an adult entertainer on a subscription website as she has been for her skill on the basketball court.

Now, it seems she is getting the last laugh.

Cambage appeared to confirm the insane value of her new contract with Sichun when she posted on Instagram stories on Saturday morning: “1 milly then I’ll perform” — while sharing a photo of a news report about her new $1 million contract.

The deal could be even richer with the report suggesting the contract is loaded with performance bonus clauses.

“I have always loved my time in China and I am really looking forward to getting out onto the court again,” Cambage told The Herald Sun.

“It’s one of the strongest leagues in the world and I have played many seasons there over the years.

“Some of the best players in the world play in the league and it will be great to meet my teammates and the whole support team very soon.

“They have a great successful culture of embracing and backing everyone which is why they have been so successful as a club.”
